Ahill Review Summary

We had the hamburger instead of wagyu and we began to think it was a mistake. We sat on the counter so we saw all their cooking and felt the wagyu steak looks much better. We had some delicious hamburger steak in Japan and they did a wonderful job with it. Those one had foie gras in it and we were really hoping to have some foie gras Tepanyaki.

The hamburger steak was slightly disappointed. I've had better. It's the flavor. I thought it's a great idea to have foie gras pieces inside nee it helps moisturize with the amount off oil/fat in foie gras. And it was impressive that it stays in cube form even after cooked. (if you don't do it right, foie gras melts when cook)

The fried rice was extraordinarily. So flavorful and delicious.

I was particularly impressed with their professionalism. They took their cooking very seriously and they also provide great service. They coat check for you, waiters were very attentive. The experience was good and if anything I suggest is to work on the flavor of the hamburger patty. Red wine reduction sauce also need to tweak... May be more sweetness, as for the hamburger patty, sesame oil and garlic saltines and stronger herb may help. But of course that's just me personal opinion.

One of my favorite joints for the perfect hamburger. The sause is to die for here. You will have to make a reservation a few days earlier and there are only two sessions, 11:30am and 1:30pm to start so make sure you come prepared. Probably one of the best cost performance lunches in Tokyo.
