Ajanta is perhaps the oldest Indian restaurant in Tokyo and stands head and shoulders above your average curry joint. I first dined here 30 years ago, and the quality and taste of their flagship items (keema, chicken curry and mutton curry) remain exactly the same to this day! That’s an amazing feat in itself and showcases their professionalism. They serve great dosas too. You might find it a bit pricey but it’s worth every penny. Strongly recommended 👍🏼

Quality food!! Traditional! Authentic! Naan was big and soft inside, crispy outside. Curries were thick and tasty!

Great place; well worth the reputation. The Aloo Gobi curry is beautiful; the chapati great, the spicy mutton curry fantastic... Of course your mileage will differ but hard to not find at least 4 or 5 great curries here.
The fact that you can have Chapati and Roti and not the ''always here in Japan'' rice or Nan is great too.
