This restaurant is famous for their crab. Even those who are not so keen about crab end up enjoying it after a meal here. The restaurant has 3 private rooms. We had 2 of the rooms joined together, as we were a quite a large party, with 9 of us. This is a quiet, elegant restaurant, with high-quality service. What makes this restaurant so special is the various ways they prepare the crab for their diners. Large chunks of crab sashimi, crab "shabu-shabu", char-grilled crab, just to name a few. We were able to fully enjoy every last piece of a large King Crab, until we couldn't eat any more. I personally was never a huge fan of crab, but I totally love it now after dining here! It was really wonderful. The other menu items, featuring seasonal ingredients, were just as delicious, with a lot of thought and care put into its preparation. To finish off the meal, we had kamameshi (rice and vegetable cooked in a small pot) with ikura (salmon roe) and stewed Japanese beef, of which you can have as many helpings as you want! I probably ate about 3 months' worth of ikura that night. Everyone was so full from all the crab, but the kamameshi was so delicious that some people even had second helpings. If you have any friends visiting from overseas, you definitely want to take them here!
