The tendon in this place was fantastic! even though kamakura is famous for the shirasu, I wasn’t a big fan of it.

📣tip: this place is hard to find. Walk inside the shopping complex. You'll see many food shops down a long hall. Then it opens up to a circular area with seats. The restaurant is actually on the 3F.

This place is small with a few tables and traditional tea room tables. Sign your name on the waitlist. There are seats to wait outside. The menu is not in English but there are only 6 items and all with large photos.

Get a shirasu bowl (they're known for this) and a vegetable tempura don. Yum!!! Both come with pickle, miso soup and sherbet.

There is 🚫🚻 no dedicated bathroom. You have to go outside the restaurant to use the building's shared bathroom by the staircases. This facility is really gross. I hope you don't have to use it 😄.

This place has an elevator but it's 🚫♿ not wheelchair friendly 😭.

The food and service were excellent. The tempura vegetables which were served with rice and miso soup were some of the best I've tasted, a great vegetarian option.

The restaurant was a little difficult to find. See the first picture. Enter through into a small food corridor that leads into an open space & go to the 3rd floor. Enjoy.. Thank me later 😊

The service is excellent. The wait can be 45mins to an hour, but it is worth it. The set menu we had is amazing. Some of the best tempura I've ever had. The shirasu was delicious, as were all of the side dishes.
