This beautiful place is clean and neat. Nothing but wood in the interior makes it feel kind of mystical. The staff was very kind, polite and open to answer any questions despite not speaking very good English.
The food was delicious to say the least. I remember of having at least 4 courses and at the end they offered a paper bag with some rice to go. Very kind detail. The sake we had was also incredibly tasty. After two ice cold glasses of beer it’s an experience I can’t wait to repeat.
Defenitely a must while in Ikebukuro.

It doesn't have the atmosphere of an izakaya, and it doesn't have the high hurdles of a high-end restaurant.
It's moderately high-class, and the food is better than the izakayas near Ikebukuro Station, so it's a restaurant you should know about if Ikebukuro is your area of activity.
The downside is that it is far from the station. To be honest, it's a shame that if you didn't know about the location, you wouldn't go looking for a restaurant at the west exit and not go to this place, but it's a waste not to know about it.
