A must go if you're in Kyoto. I've been to quite a few fancy restaurants around Japan including Michelin star ones but I'm very confident that this restaurant is extremely unique! The entire experience, from the beautiful private room, delicious food to the engaging storytelling and unbeatable excellent customer service, was simply perfect. The theme changes each season and I was lucky enough to experience the ghibli themed meal. I cannot recommend this place enough!! It will be worth every single yen.

For an experience where each dish has a story, don't miss this place. Consider also the price, that is quite high, anyway this is what it is all about, buying a culinary experience and not just a dinner.
