We visited this restaurant in last October 2023, it's very near to Arabica coffee. It's located near the river and if you are luck enough uou can have the best spot with the river view.
The food was really good, it's like a comfort food during a cold day, the soba portion is big enough for me.
During peak hour, most often than not, you need to write down your name and it will takes about 1 hour or less so plan accordingly.

We ate lunch here back in July. We were a large group (7 people) and they did everything to accommodate us. The food was delicious, the service excellent and the sights to the river was the icing on the cake. THE TEMPURA WAS THE BEST WE HAD IN JAPAN. We would definitely come back!!

Had to wait 3 hours for a table of 6… but the soba and tempura was delicious
Go early to avoid a long wait. Put your name down first thing, then go walk around and enjoy the sights, temples and shops after while waiting
