100 famous Japanese restaurants!
Of course the food is delicious! And the hospitality was amazing!
Come to the store by reservation at 17:30 on weekdays in January 2024! You can use cards!
The store is originally open from 6pm, but I had to be there before 8pm! When I told them about this when making an online reservation, I received a phone call and was told that it would be over the course time, so how about 5:30 pm? I was able to get it in even though it was before business hours! It was very helpful!

The inside of the store is very clean and there are only 8 seats at the counter! It is run by a husband and wife team!

I ordered a course called Otsu -Kinoto-!
Course content

・Fukui Prefecture Maruoka native species Soba oyster
・Winter appetizer Hassun
・Soft-shelled turtle
·sliced raw fish
・Oysters, Milt, Yuzu, Ginkgo, Mukago
·Meat
・Snow crab, how much rice

Naturally, the food is carefully prepared and very delicious, and the speed at which it comes out and the hospitality are impeccable! It was a very nice shop! Thank you for the meal!

I visited in the evening for a dinner party and had the Kinoto course. All nine dishes of creative Japanese cuisine had a seasonal feel and were very delicious, making the most of the flavors of the ingredients. To finish off the meal, the chef's hand-made Seiro Soba noodles are also delicious. Everything was delicious, but to be honest, I didn't really feel that there was anything that drew me in or moved me beyond the deliciousness. There are only 8 seats at the counter, so I think it's suitable for a dinner for 2 people. The customer service from the owner and landlady was also very good. The food alone is about 10,000 yen, and if alcohol is included, it's around 15,000 to 20,000 yen, which is reasonable. I think this is a good restaurant if you want to eat a seasonal Japanese course for two people. Credit cards accepted, no parking available.

Tonight I had Japanese food for the first time in a while.

Asai Otomi

This is Kanuta's shop on the second floor of the building.

There are 3 types of courses available (reservation required)

Tonight, the popular No. 1 in the middle -Kinoto-

The menu is detailed

First of all, it's soba noodles. It's cold and delicious.

Appetizers include mackerel sushi, sweet shrimp, sea rat intestine tofu, and mushrooms, full of seasonal flavors.

The bowl is chrysanthemum soup with matsutake mushrooms, cutlassfish, and dried bonito flakes.

I forgot to take a picture of the sashimi, but the taste changes with each bite.

The bean paste is delicious with abalone, conger eel, and thick nameko mushrooms.

The grilled dishes are wagyu beef and conger eel.

The meal was saury fish rice cooked in an iron pot, an old specialty of our family.

Luxurious with pickled yolk, red dashi saury fish rice, and matsutake mushrooms

This place seems to serve soba at the end. It's simple and delicious.

Dessert is also luxurious shaved ice

We had a relaxing time.

I'll come back later
