This was one of the best meals we had while visiting Tokyo. A low-key, no frills soba shop with handmade soba. We went for lunch on a hot day and the cold soba was perfect. We had the traditional soba with 100% buckwheat and cold broth, and another 100% buckwheat with warm broth with duck meat and leeks. There were options for thin, medium, or thick cut noodles which was fun to choose from. It took a while (only one person cooking and each meal seemed to be made one at a time) but it was totally worth it.

We stopped in for some soba noodles. We waited a couple minutes for a table (which was fine as we’re 5 people). We were given an English menu which was helpful. We tried two of the hot soba noodle soups- one with duck broth and one with onion and leeks. Both were delicious. Highly recommend.

The shop maintains a very clean and stylish atmosphere.
Please note that it may open 30 minutes late at night depending on how crowded it is during the day.
It is managed by two people, a clean and amiable wife and a taciturn chef husband.
Both of them are pleasant and always greet the customers whether the restaurant is full or empty.
Both soba and soba tea are delicious😋.
It was midsummer and it was hot outside, but the warm soba noodles called “Tsukune Nanban” with meatballs of duck bird and yam were very delicious. Fluffy meatballs. There are several types of green onions depending on how they are cut, and the thick green onions are properly grilled.
Along with the interior of the shop, the food is also beautiful and beautiful.
The view from inside the shop was also beautiful, so I took a picture of it.
