Around an hour waiting time on weekday lunch time. The taste was great. Eel were made to be a little bit dry + crispy. I would prefer more juicer version of grilled eel rice.

Best unagi restaurant in Nagoya with wonderful atmosphere at their main shop location. We came on a Monday for lunch and showed up around 10:15 am. No one waiting in line yet. There was a sign posted that at 11:15am they would start handing out time slots. The line queues up fast, so show up early if you want first seating. If you get there after 11am, the wait will be 2 hours. Highly recommend the grilled unagi meal served 3 ways. I ordered the large portion and it was amazing and delicious. Service was excellent and attentive. Entire restaurant is shoes off as they have a combination of tatami mat seating and regular table seating. Private parking lot next to the restaurant. Highly recommend to come to the main store for the experience.

Very good and unique experience. Though we reached during opening time for dinner, we had to wait for one hour. However, the waiting is well managed, and welcome was quite exquisite.
The hitsumabushi (extra large) is sufficient for 2 people, along with a starter and sake. I enjoyed the service and ambiance.
