Aux Amis Restaurant Review Summary

Lift lobby to 8 floor separate from petit cafe. Just opposite japanese tempura restaurant. Bright sunny dining area on 3 floors. 3 menus to choose from n big wine list esp French of course. Besides champagne bordeaux n burgundy also has rhone jura loire etc.
Nice presentation of dishes starters fish n meat. Really like kuroge wagyu A4..nicely done medium rare.
Serving staff while efficient speaks very limited English.

Unbelievably good bottle of chevry chambertin burgundy, for $90 . Green salad with very fresh truffles was better than in Paris. As with so many things in Japan, the meal better than what it is copying, in this case a french bistro. Terrific service! Will return whenever in Tokyo.

Lunch on the 10th floor. Loved the food. Taste so clean and very delicate. The atmosphere is quiet and cool but not very splendid. I believe this restaurant is quite known for having much variety of wine to choose from but ppl like us who don't consume alcoholic drinks may not have much to talk about it.

I ordered lunch course. Taste is good. Several dishes are used foodstuff then very interested
And also we ordered wine which recommended for each dishes. It is very interesting because we could drink several tastes wines and it is not expense.

Excellent food and service. Definitely recommend this place.
