Baker Bounce Sangenjaya Review Summary

It was much greater than my expectation!! Meaty burgers, “deep” fried potatoes that tastes sweetness, and price is not so expensive!! Atmosphere and interior are old american style (my guess), staff are kind (but ranked three stars cuz it is average);)

Had cheeseburger with avocado topping, 1550 yen incl fries and drink. Burger was good, not the best, but decent and big. Liked the homemade pickles and pickled salad, both pretty tasty. A few small complaints would be the bun was a little too small and over-toasted for my liking, and since the patty was quite thick it could have been seasoned better to elevate it from just a thick slab of ground beef. Wedge fries were good but I also personally prefer standard cut. Also took about 20 min for my burger to arrive and it wasn't that busy, so don't go there if you're on limited time. Decent overall, 3/5 stars.

*EDIT: 2nd visit -- Anyone claiming this to be the best burger in Tokyo has led a sheltered life. It's not even the best in Sangenjaya (Clap Hands is, IMO). Had to try it again just based on the amount of good reviews this place has, but my original review still stands. 3/5. Ridiculously slow service. The burger is just OK, and very big, but nothing to rave about.

One of the best hamburger I had in Tokyo. I got a bacon cheese burger. You can choose between 4 types of cheese. The bacon is really crunchy and the overall size is very satisfying.
The interiors reminds America in the 60s. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

Superb. Willing to take risks and in my opinion they all pay off.
Fresh raw salad (including lots of onion so be aware) powers the flavour of an expertly constructed and promptly served burger.
The chips are crisp and homemade with a dusting of salt that serves a purpose instead of drowning the thing as with most.
The atmosphere felt relaxed and comfortable. It really is hard to find a flaw.
Highly recommended.

A hamburger shop that has been around for a long time in Sangenjaya area.
The burgers here are really delicious, so I highly recommend trying one! The patties and bacon inside are thick and juicy because they are cooked to order. And the vegetables are fresh.
On weekends, there is often a line of people waiting to get in, so it's best to make a reservation. Or you can order a takeout and eat it at home or in the park.
I chose to take out this time, and I was very satisfied with the appearance and taste of the food as it was wrapped in the same way it was served at the restaurant.
Oh, and don't forget the beer!🍺
