Best gyozas in Tokyo ! Order kimchi, cucumber, gyozas, more gyozas and again and again…

Had the Gyoza and the Bandai Ramen. Both were fantastic! The Bandai Ramen tasted like a barbecue and the gyozas were on point. Staff were friendly and the atmosphere was nice. Great level of a/c; not too cold not too hot. Would come again!

A long-established gyoza restaurant founded in 1964 located in Yokozuna Yokocho, right next to Ryogoku Station.
When I visited on a Friday, it was crowded with office workers.

The menu doesn't have much variety, but it's simple with gyoza and levanilla, followed by beer.

The gyoza are small but chewy and have thick skin.
The filling is light, so you'll need a second helping.

Stir-fried levanilla with lots of bean sprouts, liver is thin but very delicious!

The added stir-fried liver with salt has the sweetness of onions. It was my first time to eat stir-fried liver with salt!
    Both are extremely delicious.

It's a nice shop with a nice sign and a Showa era feel both inside and out.
