Bistro 2538 Review Summary

23 Mar 2024 I visited here for early dinner around 5 o'clock. I had a table on the 2nd floor today. Good dishes and wine!

23 Nov, 2022 I re-visited here for lunch. Though It was a rainy day, a lot of table were booked. I'm luckily to have a chance to eat. Wines are so good.

Due to quarantine, they serve many dishes to take away.
10 April, 2022 Today I had a chance to eat in the restaurant at the first time. Very reasonable lunch even on the weekend.

Had an amazing dinner there.
Beef cheek stew was a amazingly tender.
The fries had a honey and cheese dip.
The charcuterie is always a great choice.
The pasta had rock fish and Kyoto leak, which was phenomenal.
And the little wafer had foie gras in it, which was a pleasant combo of sweet, savoury and some mustard as well.
And for 2 people, it was only about 7000¥.
Highly recommend going there.

Went here for dinner.. couldn't get a table eventhough there was a table clearly empty and two customers just left. The staff was rude and didn't say that the table was already taken, just looked at us like we're annoying strangers blocking the restaurant of something and said what? what do you want? with a rude attitude. Don't go here! not recommended!

The French connection is alive and well in kitasenju. The food here was extreemly flavorful, and the service was excellent. Highly reccomended the beef check & tongue combo. They are glazed so diffently and contrasting the 2 flavors is a total joy.

Good to have conversation and drink.
Dishes are nice.
