Bistro Aux Amis Review Summary

Came by this restaurant previously but it was full so we tried our luck again walking in and they had seats. Although they offer a set menu, we went for ala carte as the set menu was quite limited.
We had roasted lamb and beef bourguignon. The portions aren't large but it's just nice I think. The lamb was slightly fatty, I didn't eat about 30% of it. But the flavours for both dishes are delicious.
We also tried the apple pie and vanilla ice cream for dessert. The pie is cold, guess it's Japan's style, and it was still yummy.
Would recommend this restaurant if you're looking for french dishes.

Went on a Saturday at lunch with no reservation and had less than a 5 minute wait. Ordered the lunch special and it was decent. No vegan/vegetarian options but pescatarians could find something to eat. Service was great - very attentive.

Very good food and very tasty. Would be nice for a slightly larger quantities - only negative. Well priced with good menu options. Service is ok but nothing exceptional. Place has a feel of a real French brasserie and nice decor. If you are in Ginza. Worth a stop for lunch.

Located in Ginza Six 6/F. Great atmosphere and decor. The service was great. We had the 3 course menu. Everything was good even the wine list. We had a comfortable meal. Reasonable value for what you get.

Fabulous dishes from a small French bistro! We ordered a course menu and every single dish blew me away. Service was top-notch, very attentive staff! The restaurant decors may be too red or a bit over the top but I was paying more attention to the food. May not be the best place if you're on a budget, prices are a little steep. Overall experience was wonderful, I even ordered beef cheek to go and it is the juiciest, meat so tender!
