Bistro Ishikawatei Coredo Muromachi Restaurant Review Summary

Had the set lunch, delicious grilled pork loin. Quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Waiter was kind to help us take a photo. Highly recommended!

Male staff is pretty rude, quite surprising by japanese standard. They are probably trying to be a disgrace to Japan. Food is kinda meh for the price, probably can skip.

We ordered a meat pie and a hamburg with demi glace sauce. The crust of the pie/tart is hard like an old stale cracker. It was filled with minced beef which tasted a lot like bolognese ragu, topped with cheese. It just didn't pair well. The hamburg was of decent size, BUT the taste was dissapointing, and the big pieces of lettuce in it was just a bad call. We left after a few bites. 20 days of dining in Tokyo, this was our worst meal.

Service, staff well trained, kind and smiling.
Atmosphere, is not a place for dating.
Value: very good, if considering the location and volume.
I don't recommend.
