Bistro Kojiya Review Summary

I made a reservation at Ikkyu for 3,500 yen per person, which includes a toast drink. About 8 minutes walk from Shinjuku 3-chome.

If you say it's a small amount, it's an elegant amount, but I felt that it was because of that that I was able to enjoy the free flow of alcohol.
I can't drink alcohol when I'm full!

And in the end, I felt strongly because the dessert was so wonderful.
A single fig was thoroughly boiled, and the combination with the wine-flavored sauce was excellent, including the weight, which was perfect for the stomach after a meal.
I had about 8 drinks, and it was just the right amount for my last munchies.

Cooking is great! pasta! Meat! Fish! If that had happened, I wouldn't have been able to drink it, and I might have gotten rid of it thinking I didn't need dessert.

Under such circumstances, the wine and figs I ordered as my last order tasted really good, and it may have been the first time I was able to finish the entire course.

In that sense, I personally felt that in a good way, I was able to receive a large number of items at my 80's.

It may not be enough for people who don't drink much, but I want to try all the wines that the serving man will carefully explain to you! If you're a wine connoisseur, you'll find that the food is seasoned just right and has just the right amount.

I went on a holiday in July 2024.
Seating capacity for about 18 people. The interior of the store is simple and doesn't feel decorated.
Perhaps due to the structure, such as the lack of interior space and only walls on all sides, voices can be heard very loudly. On the day of the event, the restaurant was fully booked as soon as it opened, and everyone except me was a woman.
The 2-hour course starts at 11:30 and includes free drinks, including alcohol, for 5,000 yen. Two types of alcohol were available. Wine is white, red, and beer. There are 5 types of soft drinks. Super value! (The price is double at night. I don't know what kind of drinks are available 🙇)
Heartland beer. The selection of wines prepared by the shop is perfect, with whites and reds satisfying.
We enjoyed the food, from appetizers to soups, main dishes, and desserts.
There is a drawer with a round hole in the bottom right corner of each table. Contains a spoon, fork, and knife. This drawer doesn't have a stopper, so if you accidentally remove it, it will fall off. (I did it as soon as I entered the store, and the group next to me did it while they were eating. Please use a stopper!)

About 15 minutes from Shinjuku Station. Shops within walking distance. This is a restaurant where you can enjoy mainly bistro food and wine.
There are 5 tables for 2 people and 2 tables for 4 people. It's a small shop. Since it was a weekday, 80-90% of the customers were women.

This time I used the 5,000 yen lunch course that includes all-you-can-drink.
It's already a double main dish, but I would like a little more volume.

There is only one staff member at the hall, so it may take some time to order additional drinks. This shop is recommended for wine lovers as they have a free flow of domestic and international wines.
