Bistro Le Parisien Review Summary

For me the best authentic french food in Tokyo.

By authentic I mean, being able to order what an average person could eat in France, not the fusion Michelin glitter.

The food is simple, authentic, unpretentious and home made.
Their homemade butter is amazing.

I will keep coming back.

Outstanding, unpretentious food. My go to for French food in Tokyo

Living in Japan I struggle to find authentic French or any kind of western food. This place however is as authentic as you can get. The food was exquisitely delicious and the variety in the menu is outstanding. Plenty of baguette and butter as soon as you sit at your table. The staff, especially the owner exhibits all the Mediterranean warmth and friendliness you’d expect!

Definitely strongly recommend this place.

the servers rushed us to finish our food and were not kind. if you want to eat mid french food with rude waitstaff, this place is perfect. very uncomfortable experience. you could offer me a free meal to eat here and i would skip it.

Very nice place, owner very kind, good and genuine French food with a menu that of often renewed. 3 stars for the fact that we were served obviously past due date deserts, which made 2 people on 3 of the parties sick, including a child… wishing the owner to be careful next time, and hoping that is the only time it happened!

Excellent little French Bistro -Le Parisian,  near Iidabashi station
This is really a nice place for dinner or lunch. Just off the main street is this hidden gem - Le Parisien. They have a little area outside where you can sit if the weather is good and the inside of the restaurant is nicely decorated. The staff were very helpful and friendly when assisting me select what I wanted to order. Excellent range of wine but I let the host choose a glass for me and was not disappointed. The food was all extremely tasty and well presented and was of a good portion sizes. The pasty of escargot with dill sauce was my favorite and the fish I ordered was delicate and perfectly cooked. The coffee was also fantastic. I will be back!!
