This place has been featured in a few magazines and become kind of popular. At first I was a little annoyed that even though we got there 5 minutes after they opened for lunch, we had to wait a half hour outside in the hot sun. Once in, though, the staff was really friendly and the udon was fantastic! I don't think it's made in-house, but comes from the Goto Islands in Nagasaki, but still good -- and the tourist info they had there made me want to go!

[A restaurant where you can eat Nagasaki's Goto Udon]
I ordered `Bukkake Large Size'' and `Kashiwa, Tofu, Chikuwa (Isobe Fried) Tempura''. The total cost was 1870 yen.

It was my first time trying Goto udon and it was delicious! Although it is thin, it has firmness! It goes down the throat easily and goes smoothly. It might have been better in terms of volume.
    The tempura was also delicious!
Tofu tempura...I ordered it because I thought it was unusual, but I guess it was just as I imagined...
Kashiwa tempura and fried chikuwa isobe are stable!

I went there about 15 minutes before opening on weekdays, and I was the first one. The place was almost full within 10 minutes of opening.
The store seems to be closed irregularly, so it would be best to check on social media before coming.
    Thank you for the meal!

This was my first time going to a store where I thought there would be a line of customers.

It is said to be one of Japan's three major udon noodles, and is called Goto udon in Nagasaki. Compared to regular udon, the noodles are thinner and have a smooth texture.

This time I ordered cold egg bukkake udon.
Some items on the menu can be served hot or cold, so it's fun to try different flavors depending on the season. The hanpen Isobe tempura was fluffy, had a good seaweed flavor, and was very delicious.

I passed by this place many times and wondered why many people were waiting in line. Finally, found it!!

The restaurant serves specific Udon named Goshima Udon from Nagasaki. The differences compared to normal Udon are thinner and smoother texture.

I ordered “Tamago bukkake Udon”, which is cold udon topped with a soft-boiled egg, bonito flakes and yam. Also ordered Hanpen( fish cakes) Tempura with seaweed. Those are my new favorite!!
