This is my first visit. I didn't make a reservation for this restaurant, which is only open on Wednesdays, so I decided to go a little after lunch and visited just after 2pm.
It was good until I put it in at the right time, but
The curry is only pork vindaloo...
It was a shame because I was looking forward to the swordfish.
(This is a natural result. You must make a reservation or arrive early!)
However, I was more than satisfied.

The vegetables are delicious. Turnips, crunchy.
The steamed rice is steamy.
Lemon achar has a great presence.
It's sour and has a slight bitterness that increases your appetite!
And the pork vindal has a nice sour taste.
The use of spices is also exquisite.
It was a complete meal in no time!

I'm looking forward to Wednesday.

Swordfish curry plate and hot chai

Even though it is a type of curry, it is a plate similar to Dal Bhat. Bean curry (dhal), stir-fried taro, mushroom achar, grilled turnip, and chickpea topping. And the main dish, the swordfish, is served on rice with papad.
The saury fish has all its internal organs intact, so it's small in size, but it's amazing! It is a feeling. I left the head and backbone as they were tough, but the flesh was plump and delicious and went well with the curry. It was a delicious plate that was well-balanced.

I was curious about it on Instagram and decided to ask about it.
Climb the stairs to the third floor of the building and you'll find a rented space that looks like a stylish bar, and as the name suggests, it's only open on Wednesdays.
On this day, since I visited around 7 pm, there was only one type of curry, chicken, and since the night was a one-drink system, I ordered Hojicha Rum Coke, and the curry was served in about 10 minutes.
The overall impression of the curry and side dishes was that it was carefully prepared, and had a Japanese taste, and rather than being sweaty with lots of spices, it was a curry that you could savor deeply and in complexity.
In the second half of 2023, it seems that there will be various developments in addition to Wednesdays, so I'm looking forward to the shop's success!
