Bois De Boulogne Review Summary

Fancy, great quality food, very delicious. We had their 4 course menu and really enjoyed it. Every dish was different and had wonderful flavors, plus looked like art. Simple but solid wine list.
Can definitely recommend for high end outing

Enjoyed a fantastic business lunch at this iconic French restaurant located in the middle of Hibiya Park. I've walked through this park many times and never noticed the restaurant. I will definitely be back

This is a beautiful and polite restaurant.
A white, retro building located in the middle of Hibiya Park. A long-established store founded in 1902.
When you enter the entrance on the 1st floor, the receptionist will kindly guide you to the elevator and take you to the 3rd floor. When you enter the restaurant, you will see the lush Hibiya Park in front of the large glass windows. The interior was classic with high ceilings, and tables with clean white tablecloths were arranged to make full use of the space.
From beginning to end, each and every elaborate dish was displayed on beautiful plates, and both eyes and mouths were filled with joy. The lobster was especially delicious.
The wine prices are a bit steep, but it feels reasonable for this location.
All the staff were very courteous.
It was lunch on the first day of a three-day weekend, but it was surprisingly empty (although there was a line at the restaurant on the first floor), and we had an elegant time. We got off to a slow start and were the last group in, but the service was attentive and didn't feel rushed at all.
I would definitely like to visit again.

We had the highest quality course for dinner, but only two dishes were so impressively delicious that we had to leave some behind. Looking at everyone's wonderful posts, I wonder if the chef's skills are perfect, or if he was the head chef who was a pinch hitter. The reason for the 2-star service was that there was a staff member who was coughing without a mask on, and there were private conversations that could be heard from the back. Was it a bad day after all? The location of the store is great.

I used it for an important event!
As you would expect from a long-established store, the store has a calm atmosphere, and the decoration and interior give off a sense of history from the Meiji and Taisho eras.
Although it is in the middle of the city, the location is also great in Hibiya Park.
I had dinner this time, but I think lunch would be a better way to enjoy the greenery of Hibiya Park.

I made a reservation for a special course by Chef Rokukawa, and ordered an omakase set with one glass each of bubble, white, and red wine.
As you can see from the photo, all the dishes were very satisfying in terms of taste and presentation!

The wine was poured into a large glass, so it was more than enough.
(I don't know much about wine, so I don't know how to choose a glass or the optimal amount...Personally, I was satisfied because it was delicious and I enjoyed it lol)

I ate the food quite slowly, but I think the customer service was polite and the food was made to suit my eating pace.
Before I knew it, I had been there for about 4 hours.
The quantity is small! I saw a review about it and it just made my stomach swell lol

It doesn't have the modern splendor, but it has the atmosphere of a long-established store.
I chose them for my anniversary, thinking that I would like to use them for a long time, so I would like to use them again for other celebrations!
