Bon Bonheur Review Summary

A fancy meeting place in Mitsukoshi, one of the most famous department stores in Tokyo, serves fancy food and drinks with better facade than contents., all tending to be bland, similar to most of the Japanese fancy kaiseki cuisine.

The place was full 3rd of May for afternoon tea and I couldn’t get in without waiting but it all looked really lovely and delicious.

The tea set looked particularly inviting.

Lovely food, classy ambience, and excellent service from the elder female staff who patiently explained me everything in English. I didn’t make a reservation and got the table right away at around 2pm.

Conveniently located and high quality menu. The staff were not as friendly as I would have hoped. Prices are steep, but this is a given in Ginza

Less crowded because it is located behind luxury clothes shops. Ice cream croissant was delicious.
