Visited for brunch on the way home from a night shift.

About 20 minutes walk from Akitsu Station. About 15 minutes walk from Shin-Akitsu Station.

Exit the ticket gate at Shin-Akitsu Station and proceed straight along the tracks.
Turn right at the Tokorozawa Kaido intersection and it will be immediately on your left. There is also a parking lot next to [Gyoza no Osho]. (The number of parking spaces is small)

This restaurant is known for its large lunches.

Specialties include pork ginger yakiniku bowl, black fried noodles, and original gyoza (garlic, perilla, etc.).

Inside the restaurant, J-pop-like music is playing, and there are about 15 tables for four people and 10 seats at the counter.
The space is large enough to accommodate around 70 people in total.
Although it was a weekday, the store was crowded with customers as it was lunchtime.

    Ordered items
    ◯Ginger pork yakiniku bowl (¥1,200)
    ◯Shiso Gyoza (¥480)
    Total amount: ¥1,680

From the store clerk when ordering
“I have two and a half cups of rice, is that okay?”
    I am asked.

I usually eat 3 cups of fried rice, furikake, and rice with natto and egg, so I thought it would be no problem and ordered this.

    ・Shiso dumplings
Each one is about 2.5 times the size of Gyoza no Sho's gyoza.
The filling inside is filled with cabbage, ground meat, and green perilla (perilla leaves).
I think this alone is a good value for money.

First, I'll try eating one with just pepper and vinegar. It has a strong aftertaste.
This alone was delicious, but I ate the rest of the gyoza with a little soy sauce. Shiso gyoza with a home-style taste. It's quite delicious.

[Gyoza King] is perfect, but [Bonten]'s gyoza is by far my favorite.

It contains a lot of eggs, radish, and carrots.
It's quite bland. I added some pepper and soy sauce.

    ・Pork ginger yakiniku bowl
    It's a lot more than I expected.
It's loaded with not only rice and side dishes, but also shredded cabbage, just like a Mont Blanc cake.
This is a famous pork and ginger yakiniku bowl that is just as rumored.

The rice is the slightly hard-cooked white rice that is common in Chinese restaurants.

The side dishes for the yakiniku bowl include carrots, onions, green peppers, and tender pork loin or pork belly.
The taste is a thick sweet and spicy sauce with a little garlic.
It's the taste that Japanese people like, the taste of local Chinese food, and it's quite delicious.

The cabbage is also coated with a sweet and spicy sauce.

① The size of the gyoza is a bit jumbo.
    ②Do not consume alcohol.
③ There was more shredded cabbage than expected.

Due to reasons ① to ③, I was unable to finish the Yakiniku bowl. (I finished the gyoza and soup)
    amount left
    ・Rice 60%
    ・Side dishes 25%

I talked to the store clerk and decided to pack it up and take it home. (Package after eating in-store is free)

I took it home, ate it as a snack, and finished it.

It may be an unnecessary inconvenience, but when I left the store, there were several groups of customers waiting for me.
    This amount for this taste.
With this level of prosperity, the Gyoza King next door may lose customers and close down.

I am full and satisfied today. Thank you for the meal. Thank you very much.

Large portion! Anyway, it's a big deal
I read the reviews and said it was a large portion, so I visited with my husband.
The seasoning is gentle, so even if you eat a lot, it won't leave a lump in your throat.
The dishes that are brought to other tables are also very large, so if you're visiting alone, I think I'll go with a half-sized dish.

Visited on Sunday around 13:30. The seats were almost full, but I was able to sit at the counter without waiting. I ordered Tenshin rice for ¥980 and garlic gyoza for ¥440, and the food came out in about 5 minutes. It's bigger than I expected. Both the Tenshinhan and the gyoza were huge, so I was glad I didn't order a large serving. The filling of Tenshinhan has a salty base and also contains wood ear mushrooms, making it delicious. The inside of the gyoza is filled with meat and is about 1.5 times the size of other stores. The portions were large and it was delicious, so I was convinced that it was enough to compete with the king next to me. You can only pay by cash or Paypay, which is inconvenient, but I might visit again.
