An amazing restaurant. The dishes are hand-crafted and exquisite. Many are completely original creations that you will never find anyplace else. There is a well-chosen and reasonably priced selection of wines and beers, plus a few basic cocktails and hard liquors are available. The chef chooses and programs the eclectic music playing in the background, and like everything else about this restaurant, it is original and well done. Last time I was in Japan it was for 3 weeks and I think we went 5 times. There is no English menu but If you have a good appetite and Google Translate you are in for a treat. Boomin is in my Top 10 favorite restaurants.

Excellent place but no English menu............ It's a restaurant with heavy emphasis on pork. Mix of Western and Japanese syles.

I've used it several times and the food is always delicious!
As the name suggests, it is a restaurant with an American atmosphere that mainly serves pork, and there is only a counter, so if you are going to dine with a maximum of two people, it would probably be best.

The food seems to be run by one master, so it takes a while for the food to come out, but the quality is really great.
Although the portion may be a bit large for one person to eat alone, the appetizer platter is also recommended as a way to get a taste of the restaurant.

Also, the spare ribs are delicious because the pork is grilled with vegetables and becomes crumbly!

Among the many shops in Ikebukuro, I highly recommend it.

I think it's a hidden gem for pork dishes. I think it's standard to enjoy wine with an assortment of appetizers and ham, and then finish off with the specialty grilled pork and clay pot rice. I love the pickled celery and bruschetta on the appetizer platter!
