Bread&bar Matiere Review Summary

Good melon bread and divine lunch set of the beef wine stew. Comes with soup, bread, salad. Mash potatoes is delicious. They're not creamy at all. Beef melts in the mouth. Melon bread does not leave a sugary taste on your tongue. Would come again.

Mmm sadly had to drop a star from my previous review. This time when I visited, a skinny young man with brown colored hair was not too friendly. Dismissive attitude and as he bagged my bread, he kept glaring at me. I think the customer before me was a bit difficult and there was an issue so I get it, but I felt like I was the rebound of all the pent up aggression.

This time around the coffee tasted a bit watery too. I think I’ll have to reconsider this as a staple location, but the bread was still good.

Great selection of fresh breads with a stylish, natural lit ambiance and communal vibes close enough to musashi koyama station and Rinshi-no-Mori. What really sold me was the lunch set which was affordable and delicious. I had the lasagna paired with extra bread from the storefront. Family-friendly so it can get pretty crowded on weekends.

Really delicious food served quickly in a cozy atmosphere. Can't ask for much more!

Decent enough little cafe. Fair selection of usual baked goods. Little pricey. Kind of tucked away back from the main shopping street.

One of my favourite lunch / coffee spots locally. Good lunch sets available, really good prices and friendly / Genki staff. Always a pleasure to visit
