This is a must-visit place, a heaven for tonkatsu lovers. They offer various types of pig breeds from across Japan. Booking in advance is necessary. The building is authentic and adds to the experience.

Got in solo with the first seating arriving 15 minutes before opening.
Made the atrocious mistake of thinking only the lunch menu was an option. Other menu with actual pork breed selection was available at lunch as well (tbh it’s more like just option for premium cuts or not. There are not a many options of pork breeds available at any one time. Depends on what they have at the moment)
Lunch tenderloin was still really good especially for the price at 1900 yen. Very juicy, flavorful and crisp breading. I’m assuming texture and flavor of the meat gets better with the premium cut. I will probably go again to find out. Katsu curry is good especially for the price at 1300 yen but nothing that special. I would have just gotten another premium katsu cut instead.
Update: went back for a Special Premium Tenderloin and for over double the price of the lunch cut at 4200 yen, it was ok. Still delicious by normal standards but that price is quite high compared to other quality Tonkatsu spots.

The most amazing, melt-in-your-mouth tonkatsu I’ve ever had!! We arrived at 11.20am just before they opened and there was already a queue. Making reservations is possible and recommended! We got the deluxe cut and the tenderloin and it was honestly so worth it.
