This place is tiny: the entrance, the stairway down, and the dining room.

There was one couple ahead of me around lunchtime on a weekday. You scan for the menu, which you can peruse while you wait for a table. However, when you’re seated, you’ll have to scan the code that’s unique to your table, so you can actually order.

As everyone else has said, the French toast is amazing. Unlike any I’ve had elsewhere in the world. I order the maple one.

I had the ice cinnamon tea, and it was okay.

Service was okay. They give you the smallest glass of water, which I downed in about two sips, and no one ever refilled it.

You’re limited to 80 minutes of dining time, and they only accept cash. There’s no free wifi, and if you’re a foreigner, you will probably have terrible service like I did once you’re out of the stairwell.

This “fluffy French-toast” is significantly better than the “fully pancakes” you see all over Tokyo. They taste like they were made from cinnamon sugar clouds. And the topping options are all so delicious. We tried blueberry, ice cream, marmalade, and caramel.

The lines outside gets pretty long. We arrived right at opening so we didn’t have to wait at all, but as we left the line was at least 25 people long.

You can order straight from your phone, the waiters are simply there to drop off the food you order, or help with small thing you may need

The restaurant itself is very small, with very little decor. The quaintness is nice, but there are so many missed opportunities to dress the place up and make it look unique inside.

Price was great, two of us ate and drank for less than 3000 yen.

Very unique French Toast, while the surface is like a bread toast, but the inside is mostly like a fluffy pancake texture. Very delicious and worth to try one. It is a small cafe at the basement and like many other cafe/restaurants at Tokyo, you should queue at the entrance stairs.
