Good curry, good service. The entrance is a bit hard to find. It is located on the 3rd floor of a narrow building and if you ever go there, you’ve got to try to take the elevator. One of the smallest elevator I have been in, and the doors are operated manually. It’s usually less crowded compared to some other curry shops nearby.

From Ochanomizu, take a leisurely walk down Mei Odori Street to Surugadai-shita, an area with a large concentration of curry restaurants.
We climbed the narrow stairs of an old multi-tenant building to the 4th floor and had lunch at Hinata-ya, a curry restaurant in Jimbocho. The interior of the store is a comfortable space with bright light streaming in through the wide windows.
I sat down at the counter seat by the window and ordered the ``chicken curry and seafood tomato curry set'' with rice with black rice and sticky barley.
Chicken curry has enough spice. A large chunk of chicken. A spicy adult flavor with a strong hint of ginger.
On the other hand, seafood curry is mild and creamy. Ingredients are shrimp, squid, and clams. Although it has a deep flavor, it has a sharp aftertaste and is also delicious.
The rice with black rice and glutinous barley has a chewy texture and looks very healthy. The grilled chicken wings are also fragrant and delicious.
After the meal, I finished my meal with coffee and said thank you for the meal.
The above is a set of two curries that are carefully prepared by a woman and will leave you completely satisfied.

We will be visiting for lunch after 12:00 on weekdays.
As everyone has written, there was a retro elevator, but we used the spiral staircase to reach the store on the 4th floor.
The store is filled with the smell of curry, which stimulates the stomach.
I was able to sit down without lining up and ordered chicken curry topped with chicken wings from the lunch menu. There was a free drink service, so I ordered tea.
The chicken wings in the center of the rice have quite a presence. Furthermore, I found the ceramic gravy boat to be quite rare.
The curry had a slightly sour taste in the spices.
There's a lot of chicken in there too, so it's satisfying to eat. I, the curry baron, was known as the Spice Prince and boasted that hunger is the greatest spice, and even though I had some trouble disassembling the chicken wings, I was able to finish them without any problems.
Thank you for the meal.
