Chez Tomo Ginza Review Summary

Worst experience ever.

It took 25 mins and two reminders from our side to finally get our desserts. The restaurant forgot us for 20 mins until we asked for their attention. After another 5 mins we wanted to confirm the eta of the desserts and the waiter, which turned out to be the manager as we found out later, was extremely rude saying “just wait” and left the table right in the middle of our conversation before we could even respond. No apologies for keeping us waiting for so long or being rude whatsoever from him until we left.

We do visit restaurants in Ginza at this price range often but was shocked with the service quality at this one. We never look for overwhelming hospitality but this was just subpar.

Strongly recommend anyone whoever got the chance to read this to reconsider your choice. Many great restaurants in the area with the same price range, unless what you look for is rudeness and an annoying night.

Great food, top quality service, nice ambience, perfect location. The food is made with top quality ingredients and the presentation is very nice. Staff is very professional and hospitable. Definitely recommended if you wanna try French food with a Japanese twist.

Food to perfection…the only downsize was the abalone (my personal opinion) a lil bit undercooked
