China Blue Review Summary

A lovely Chinese restaurant located on the 28th floor at the Conrad Tokyo. Great service, food overall very good but slightly expensive, but a beautiful setting with expansive views of the bay. Booking’s are recommended but don’t fall for the set menu trap, which restaurants often try on, when the menu has soo much to offer.

I must say that I don’t really understand what’s all the hype about this place.
Good side: you will definitely enjoy a great view of the city and a nice vibe of the place. BUT, the food is just OK.
I haven’t been in a lot of fancy places in my life but this is a place where I wouldn’t go again and I wouldn’t recommend either. Not that is bad, but its just not good enough for the price.
The presentation is very pretty and there is definitely some of the plates that I really enjoyed but it was only 2 out of the 6 plates that were served.
I don’t know if their menu changes all the time, but if it does maybe there is better dishes served in this place that people loved and that I haven’t had the chance to try.

Overpriced. Only thing Worthy is the view. However, we stayed in the Conrad at higher levels so the view is the same if not better in our own room. Very disappointed. Don't come.

Mabo tofu different but loved the sensation biting into the bursting skin of the tofu. Sweet and sour pork deliciously made loved it. The price was a little steep but new experiences.

One of the best restaurants as we have ever tested. Of course you have to pay for the nice and best service. I like the service of everyone in the hotel. I always enjoy the views with the food... MUST try...
