China Dining Hiten Review Summary

We went to this restaurant three days in a row while exploring Nara - that's how much we loved it! They have a whole vegan menu and everything, including the non-vegan food, was simply amazing. Food was served super fast as well. We will definitely be back next time!

A nice surprise to find they have a special vegan menu that includes several dishes including dessert. Each table has curtains for privacy which makes the experience very cozy and comfortable. When you are ready to order, remember to call the staff using the button on the table. The restrooms are clean and the staff is nice.

They had their own vegan menu! We had the bottom four options, all of them were good, I recommend the salad especially as it's quite unique and had quite a nice texture on account of the rice paper

This restaurant has a separate menu for vegans and I must say it was very tasty and the staff was very friendly. I can definitely recommend it for vegetarians in Japan

If I am in Nara again I would definitely come back here

Wow! What a hidden little gem!

Walking up to the second floor, we signed in and waited for maybe 5 minutes to be seated. The restraint has curtains dividing each table and the main walkway, so it feels very private even though you can hear the atomosphere around the place.

We rang the bell, and during lunch rush, it only took 3 minutes to have our order taken. Shortly after, maybe a 10-15 minute wait, our food arrived. The food was HOT and FRESH! Every plate we ordered was so tasty. The pricing I felt was fair, and the portions were good.
