Chinese Restaurant Hagoromo Ginza Review Summary

Classy Chinese restaurant with nice quiet atmosphere. Very sophisticated flavor in simple cold noodle. Perfect for hot summer lunch. Everyone working there is friendly and polite. I would go back there again to try other dishes.

This is not expensive, even though it is located in Ginza area.
Atmosphere is not bad, but everyone would feel that time has stopped 40 years ago there.

About 30 years ago, we used it two or three times a year with a large group of about 10 people.
It's been a while since I made a reservation for 5pm and there were no other customers.
However, after 30 minutes, the seats start to fill up.
It seems to be a popular restaurant as usual, and by the time we left at 7pm, it was almost full.
Reservations are required to guarantee a seat.

So, we start with the ``assorted appetizers (for two people)'' and ``gyoza'', which are perfect for a light drink.
As usual, Tsure had a bottle of red wine, and I had a bottle of Shaoxing wine.
The gyoza has a thin skin, which is the type that both me and the dumplings like.
And Gyuta-pin.
It is eaten by wrapping sweetly stir-fried beef and vegetable sticks in khao ta ping (the skin used to wrap Peking duck).
My stomach has expanded quite a bit now, and I'm about 7 minutes old.
I also added the delicious ``Kaguchi'' (pork intestine sausage) and ``Kohaku Aoba'' (sweet and sour pickled carrots and daikon radish) among the seven appetizers.
We ended our meal with dried shellfish fried rice (scallop fried rice).

In the past, when we used the restaurant with a large group, there were about 10 people in total, so we were able to enjoy a variety of dishes, but unfortunately, with only two people, the number of items will inevitably decrease.
However, I have reaffirmed that it is delicious, and it is also reasonably priced, so I will continue to come here often.

I visited during lunch on a weekday. Although the restaurant was almost full and there were some people eating alone, it seemed like there were many people coming in groups of 2 to 6 people. The turnover rate was good, and although there were 3 people in front of me and 5 people behind me, I was able to get through in about 5 minutes.
The lunch menu had types A, B, and C, which changed daily, and the delivery time was quick. However, they come to take your order fairly quickly after you are given the menu, so if you are unsure, it might be better to come at a different time for lunch or look at the menu on the website in advance.
For those who were relaxing at their seats after the meal, they politely encouraged them to leave by prefacing the restaurant with the preface, ``It's fine if you can,'' and tried to increase the turnover rate, so if you would like to relax after the meal, please go to a coffee shop. We recommend that you move.
I was satisfied with the taste and volume, which was reasonable for the price. I ordered more long spring rolls, but I couldn't finish them all, so they kindly accepted take-out, so I had them as a side dish for dinner. There were lots of juicy shrimp, but it tasted a little muddy.
