Chūka-soba Aoba Nakano Review Summary

These were the silkiest noodles I’ve ever had. I have no idea how they made them like that. I wish they were slightly warmer however they were still delicious. The broth was good but not the best i had. I wish tsukemen came with an egg but the tsukemen was already pretty cheap. Good spot and fast service !

Delicious. Said to be one of the pioneers of double soup ramen in Tokyo. You can definitely tell many shops were influenced by this shop.

Soup: delicious double soup, perfect saltiness and not too heavy

Noodles: springy, alkaline, large serving feels like normal because it’s so easy to eat

Toppings: nothing special, the highlight here is definitely the soup and noodles

A very classic 'local' Ramen shop in the side streets of Nakano. A bowl of Ramen, ordered from the ticket machine outside, costs around ¥1000 (GB£5) and is a great authentic dining experience.

Just excellent ramen here. Had the special chuuka soba 1080円。Chasshuu instantly melts in your mouth. The menma was also amazing. I like how the shop opens onto the street. The fish and meat broth was filled with umami. The price is also reasonable.

An amazing restaurant located only a couple of minutes away from the Nakano Sun Mall/Broadway. The ramen here is absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced, and the atmosphere is charming.
