Citron Aoyama Review Summary

A rare vegetarian place in Japan as most meatless restaurants are vegan. Nonetheless, they have vegan options which are labelled on the menu. It is a casual French restaurant serving quiche, salad, soup, sandwich and gratin. I go for the quiche 70% of the time since it is hard to find a good vegetarian one in Japan. Their salads are also very nice, better than the salad restaurant chains. I should try more of their sandwiches and gratin too. It is really hard to choose every time! Their soups are also delicious and can be added as a side. If I lived nextdoor, I might come here everyday!

Very nice restaurant well located with an elegant and dynamic atmosphere.
Staff is very friendly and service fast and good.

I had a falafel sandwich with salad and soup.

Soap and salad were small but very tasty.
Sandwich was compound by a french bread filled with falafel and hummus. It was not bad overall but I think the bread was predominant overtaking the whole taste. This probably happened because falafel were not juicy enough and hummus quantity was too few. No other ingredients were putted to increase both taste and juicity.

If they can improve the taste of theuir sandwich I would give them 5 stars.

It’s a set menu! Even if you order only the main dish, they are going to charge for the whole set!
Service : order at the counter on 1F and seating is on 2F
Ambience : It’s not so spacious.

Also it’s all premade and stored in batches!
Overall : Must visit if you are a foodie🥗

Great vegetarian place. Had an excellent lunch, gratin, soup, salad and bread. French casual food at its best! Highly recommended.

Fantastic Salad/ quiche place very well
Located on the corner of Aoyama, Gaienmae crossing across Fran fran ! 3 min walk from Gaienmae station
They also do Uber eats for those who don’t have time !

The lunch menu is ¥1380 for a salad or quiche set so it’s great 👍🏻 price. You can add a vegan sweets for example ! Very healthy !

It’s more expensive outside the set lunch menu so be aware of it :)

Great quality products with organic and quality products and “french size” salad 🥗 so very filling!

You can choose your soup (hot or cold )and salad and dressing. Option is drinks or any other thing.

Free lemon water available. (Right outside )
I always go to the cute terrace for people watching !

The inside is also nice and modern. You order first and go take your seat style on the second floor. Open salad bar style so very clean and easy to choose!

I recommend it !
