Anyway the highest quality of service, food also Orthodox of the highest class. Just 25 years go, but hey, heavier was this stomach problem. A little whipped cream has been tightened. But still, no doubt, great restaurant.

I had lunch at Cote D'or the day it opened, and have returned many, many times. It was obvious from the very first visit that Cote d'Or was going to be at the very top of French restaurants in Tokyo. In terms of quality and atmosphere, I would compare it to Taillevent (Paris 8) or l'Ambroisie (Paris 4), except that very happily the Cote D'or is open on Sundays. Chef Saisu leads his team with a wonderful passion, a rare professionalism, and total dedication. While the menu may be more limited than at either Taillevent or l'Ambroisie, the food is of the same, consistently outstanding in composition, taste, and presentation. This is an address where one can experience the very top in French culinary arts in Tokyo.
