Cuore Azzurro Review Summary

We found this place by searching google for a good place to eat dinner... we were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is a bit of walk from Nakameguro station, about 10 min. However, the little streets full of restaurants and trendy store are a nice backdrop for a night stroll.

As far as the food goes... all the plates from the starters to main plates were amazingly good.
They have a long selection of plates that almost left us overwhelmed and unable to choose. Nonetheless the staff recommended a handful dishes and assisted us choosing the great dishes. It’s also worth mentioning their wine selection. We tried three different white Italian wines and all of them were good.

The restaurant is really small and popular so reservations are recommended. They have an English menu and accept credit cards. The prices were a little high considering it is a casual restaurant but the great taste was worth it. Overall, it was a great restaurant and definitely recommend it.

Very good food and atmosphere! The chef has lived in Italy in different regions. They understand the authentic Italian food and has a bit their own interpretation. Great Italian restaurant!

I thought I had been there, but I hadn’t. This quite popular restaurant is require little walk from Nakameguro station.
There were few almost empty restaurants though this Italian was totally packed.

Food was good enough to certified your expectations…BUT too slow! Way too slow!

Super cute vibe and nice service, but food was hit or not-so-hit (aka great or average). Loved the lemon, ricotta and mint pasta and the grilled fish; didn’t find the burrata had much flavor, and wasn’t as into the cheese ravioli in butter-sage sauce with truffles - ravioli was great, sauce/truffles lacked flavor. Wines by the glass were all great and well priced. Note 800 yen pp bread/table charge.

Very good and nice mis en place! The food quantity is regular for an Italian restaurant. The wine was excellent. A little bit expensive and the place is pretty narrow. The staff is talktive and one girl can also speak a good Italian.
