I used it for dinner and had a wonderful time.
■Appearance
It was a few minutes walk from Tsuruya Town.
There was a line forming at a nearby ramen shop, and I almost missed it because I was hiding behind the line of customers, but the shop itself faces the street and I think it would be easy to find.
Many people have written about the "height of the door" in their reviews, but what does that mean? I went there without really understanding, but now I understand what it means.
I arrived at the store 5 minutes early and tried to open the door because I had a reservation for 18:00, but it may not have opened yet. It was so heavy that I had to stop, but when I doubled my strength and slid it to the right, it somehow opened. It was exactly the weight of a "trial gate" level. lol
■Interior view
It was a wonderful space worthy of being called a hideaway. There are only 10 counter seats lined up on a solid board. A magnificent wine cellar that covers one wall, chic and elegant lighting, unobtrusive background music, and a wonderful table set. To say the least, it was a breathtaking interior that made you forget the hustle and bustle of Tsuruya-cho. A few couples who were probably guests with reservations came in midway through, but I didn't mind because there was enough distance between them and their neighbors.
■Staff
The owner is a clean and dandy person who fits well with the atmosphere of the store. was serving customers alone.
Even for those of us who were visiting for the first time, they were polite and gave us a comfortable customer service with an exquisite sense of distance, neither too close nor too far.
A regular customer on the way? When a certain customer came over, he spoke calmly and frankly and selected recommended wines, and even though we are not familiar with wine, we couldn't help but ask for a glass of wine. (*I was relieved that several types of glass wine were available.)
The chef does not appear in the store, but when the food is finished, the dishes come out with a click from a small window dedicated to serving the food. There was no scene where I was rushing back and forth between the kitchen and the store, and as a result, I was able to receive very good service.
■Cooking
I ordered course meal B, and although I don't have the vocabulary to speak of it, I said, ``It was very delicious!''
The appetizers raised my expectations, and the truffle soup had a wonderful aroma and taste, and the pasta, fish, and main meat were all extremely delicious.
The mackerel is grilled to a crispy surface, and finished in an Italian style with a spicy tomato-based sauce.
The meat is the thickest cut I've ever seen of high-quality duck meat, and it's perfectly cooked. Personally, I love duck meat, and I've eaten it everywhere, but I think it was the most delicious.
■Price
For 2 people,
Course B x 2 people
Cheers champagne x2
Glass white wine x 1
Beer (Moretti)×2
I think the total cost was a little over 30,000 yen.
Next, I would like to learn about wines that I am not used to.
■Overview
I'm very satisfied.
It was a wonderful shop that I would like to visit regularly in the future.
