I visited here during a weekday lunchtime and was seated after a short wait of less than 10 minutes. I love these kinds of antique ambiance of the restaurant. The potatoes served before the meal were a delightful touch. I opted for beef and chicken curries, and they didn't disappoint. The curry was good, with a deep flavor that truly stood out. This place is worth visiting if you're finding great curry. Thanks for a wonderful meal! :)

Very good, award winning curry restaurant, located in Jimbocho, around the corner from station exit A6. Hugely popular with queues even before opening. Menu in Japanese and English. Old school dark wooden rustic decor. Delicious curry roux, tender chicken pieces. Comes with two baked potatoes, and a variety of all-you-can-eat pickles.

APRIL 2023
The restaurant serves a European style curry located on the second floor. When I came for dinner, the queue started at the stairs but turnover was pretty fast as I got a seat after 15 mins wait. Menu was simple, choose the type of curry and add-ons. I had the beef curry topped with cheese which was delicious; savory and sweet with a very mild heat. The cheese adds another dimension of flavor but does not really enhance the dish as the curry was already so good on its own. Also the side of potato with butter was simple but hearty. The curry was well worth the price and service was quick.
