stumbled upon this place while looking for a nearby lunch option! had to queue with the lunch crowd as it seems there’s offices nearby, but the queue moved fast and they were quick to seat people.

personally enjoyed the beef curry which was more like HK style beef brisket rather than strips/chunks of beef, so it melts in your mouth. the pork cutlet was good too! and the curry had a slight spicy kick which was great.

the food came with a drink (coffee or coke) and was served quickly.

Here’s my summary from multiple occurrences of visiting this place for lunch: Perhaps the best Japanese curry place around this area. A variety of toppings available. The order should be made from self-service ticket machine which is very convenient. Orders arrive fast (which probably normal for places specialized on one thing) Portions are gigantic, so mind if you decide to order a large one. Despite the place is quite small, a group of 4 can be seated comfortably (but it might take some time for larger tables to become free)

[October 2023]

I had some business to do in Shinagawa that day, so I stopped by here around noon.
It seems to be a popular curry restaurant in Shinagawa.
The store was located on the 2nd floor of a building, right next to the Konan exit of Shinagawa Station.

When I arrived at the store around 12:30 noon, there were about 15 people waiting.
As others have written, the rotation was good and I was able to get to the table in about 15 minutes.
It feels like one person per minute.

There are various types of curry,
・Beef curry 1,000 yen
・Pork curry 850 yen
・Chicken curry 850 yen
・Katsu curry 1,150 yen
・Hamburger curry 1,000 yen
・Eggplant curry 750 yen
・Viennese curry 750 yen
・Ebi cutlet curry 850 yen
Such.
The large size was an additional 150 yen, and the raw egg or boiled egg toppings were an additional 50 yen.

this day is,
・Beef curry 1,000 yen
・Raw egg topping +50 yen
I asked for it.

When it was my turn, I handed over my ticket and was shown to a table.
On this day, we shared a table with 4 people, but since there were only 2 people, there was plenty of space.

At this timing, you can choose between coffee or cola for drinks,
·iced coffee
I asked for it.
I wondered if cola and curry would go well together, but I didn't have the courage. (lol

After waiting a while while drinking water, the curry appeared.
There was plenty of rice and roux on a large plate, and a raw egg was also served on the side.
I started eating after adding plenty of ``Fukujinzuke'' and ``Rakkyo'' on the table.

When I started eating it, I noticed that the curry roux was a little spicy, and when eaten with the raw egg and rakkyo, I think it became the kind of spiciness that Japanese people like.

What's distinctive about it is that it's filled with chunks of meat.
Although it was a beef curry, I had never experienced anything with so much beef in it, so I couldn't help but be happy.

The bitterness of iced coffee also goes well with curry.

Scoop up the roux until the end and eat it.
My stomach was full and I was completely satisfied.

I see, the level of satisfaction is as good as the reputation.
It was delicious enough for everyday use that you would want to come here once in a while.

Thank you for the meal.
