The food experience was good. Though was meat-free but was exquisite. The private dining experience was greeted with very welcoming staff. I love the yizhu miso with radish. The taste was really different from what the usual ones we eat. The mushroom with rice was excellent too. As it is meat-free, the whole meal felt very light and healthy especially in winter.

Just an exceptional restaurant in the middle of Tokyo, totally deserving of it's two Michelin stars.

Firstly the location looking over Buddhist gardens is spectacular. It really adds to the meal experience.

Secondly the food is second to none. The vegetable sushi, the vegetable tempura and the red bean soup dessert were all superb and absolute highlights.

Finally, the service is exceptional, never missing a beat, including an 80+ year old waitress.
