Daruma Review Summary

The older gentleman and crew take excellent care. A variety of small plates to choose from. I was quite enamored with their potstickers. Low reasonable prices for quality food served with pride. Enough to go back for seconds on my last night in Tokyo.

Good Chinese restaurant near Isetan Shinjuku. Lots of store clerks from Isetan choose to come here for lunch for a good reason -- inexpensive, fast and good taste. Hiyashi-chuka (cold ramen) during warm season is excellent.

Food was okay. Quite reasonable considering the restaurant is at Shinjuku (less than 1,000yen for set meals inc. rice, soup, and salad).
Buzzing atmosphere was nice.

The best Chinese Japanese restaurant at this side of Shinjuku.

The staff is super friendly and helpful. Food was authentic Chinese and the prices are friendly! Would recommend!
