Denko Sekka Review Summary

not very busy when we went despite it being a Michelin star. menus are in both English and Japanese which is great! the food itself is quite tasty, and you can add more of the sweet sauce to it if necessary :) prices range from about 1000-1900Y for each okonomiyaki. portion sizes were just right, initially looks intimidating but is actually easy to eat!

If you like okonomiyaki, or are curious to try okonomiyaki, I definitely recommend the Shibuya branch of this famous okonomiyaki chain. I went one Saturday with my friend who is from Hiroshima, which is famous of course for its okonomiyaki. The menu is extensive with dozens of variations of whatever your heart desires. While my friend lamented that he thought the portions had gotten smaller, I actually found it to be rather generous especially for the price. For predictably good okonomiyaki, give Denkousekka a try!

Hot plates need to be hotter. Food is just ok - the ones with kimchi are good. Portions are big. They have English menu but staff only know basic English.
