Designo Review Summary

We went here for a business dinner, and I highly recommend it. The food was exceptional (the shellfish & mushroom appetiser is something I will think about for a long time), the service was perfect & the wine list was tightly edited but really well curated. We had a 4 different glasses of wine with each course, and they were well matched.
I don’t know why it wasn’t busier?! It’s only a short walk from Kagurazaka station, and every single ingredient was super fresh & perfectly prepared.

We had the ¥8,500 course option, and we also had 4 glasses of wine each. The bill was under ¥30,000 which is very reasonable considering the quality of the food & wine.

Thank you for a great night. We will be back again.

At the Culture School's New Year's party, I received the Materia (French full course), which is only available on Saturdays and Sundays. A detached restaurant located in front of the Yarai Noh Theater. As a sister restaurant to Latrous, which made Kagurazaka a French town, it is a restaurant that is popular and has a high reputation even among madams with discerning palates. From the appetizer to the final cup of tea (herbal tea today), you will have the best experience ever. The main dish of the course, ``Japanese beef cheek stew in red wine'', which is a classic in French cuisine, will give you a sense of the high level of quality of this restaurant. Reservations recommended.

I visited for lunch on a weekday. I arrived at 12:00, but the 20 tables were already full. It turned out to be a popular restaurant. Even though the place was full, the food was served in reasonable quantities, and it was a wonderful and satisfying lunch time.

The food was delicious and the service was attentive. I ordered a glass of wine, but they also provided free water, which was nice.
