Din Tai Fung Tobu Ikebukuro Restaurant Review Summary

Small portions/very expensive! The famous soup dumplings were so bland, can’t understand what people rave about! We tried multiple dishes, the only good ones were the noodles/dumpling soup and the steamed pork/shrimp dumplings. Never again! One of the very few disappointments in Tokyo!

Amazing food and amazing service! Did not disappoint. I have been here before in Taiwan in the United States, and this is still amazing every time!

Best Chinese restaurant among the ones I tried in Tokyo. There was quite a long queue when we went for dinner but the restaurant was big so the queue was moving very fast. Got a seat in 20 mins. Ordered wonton noodles, it was very delicious along with super juicy dim sum.
Will definitely go again.

Food is good but dishes are small vs price. The hot and sour noodles soup is not hot or sour like Din Tai Fung in Taiwan, USA and Canada.

Classic Din Tai Fung.
Good service and amazing dumplings.
This one is may be less crowded than the one at Yoyogi I used to visit.
