A fantastic fine dining experience near Kanda station! Small intimate dining room. Delicious and intricate dégustation menu without the usual fuss and pretentiousness of haute cuisine. The server and sommelier Misato was formerly a student in Sydney and is very fluent in English. Highly recommended!!

OMG. What a shock. A husband. Wife. And son who is a sommelier! They love food and preparing it. A kind of French based Japanese fusion. The wine was great. The hosts are the best !!! Lots of knowledge of food. Each dish had a burst of taste. I have been in and out of Japan for forty years. And this resturant will be on my regular visit list. Highly recommend finding it and having a meal. You will become a regular !!!!

We received a course that included low-temperature cooking vegetables, fish, and meat, paired with four types of wine. I had a miso-based sauce that went well with a light red wine, and I had a pork shoulder loin with a concentrated flavor that was brought out by heating it at a low temperature for a long time, with a heavy red wine. The bread, which looked like cream puffs, was fresh, with a buttery flavor and something like cheese washed in salt water.
I thought it was great that the three members of the family divided up the roles and ran the store.
The area is Nihonbashi Muromachi, where there are many delicious small shops, so I think there are many people who visit. I think it would be a good idea to include it in your dinner suggestions.
