Donku Review Summary

I may be biased but, I love this place. There aren’t many Nagasaki style restaurants, that I know of, in Tokyo, so this place gets extra ⭐️’s.

They have the classics; Champon and Sara-Udon. But, their Chicken Katsu looks amazing! I didn’t order it but, I plan on getting it next time. While I was there, almost every other group had at least 1 order of the Chicken Katsu. It seems quite popular, and seriously looks delicious 🤤

And I must say, the pieces of the katsu is so big, it took all of my efforts just to finish eating those!
A place to go you could eat tasty lunch for cheap...

Tried the famous champon! It was not really for my liking but I liked the portion. If you come here during lunch time, you'll get a bowl of rice with champon.

Quality is not bad. This is a restaurant specializing in Nagasaki cuisine, with the main thing being the Nagasaki style Champon noodles - maybe the healthiest noodle dish in Japan (thanks to all the vegetables). They also have a bug variety of side dishes and alcohol, and the atmo is more that of a small izakaya rather than a noodle place. You can sit and relax. There's a small smoking booth inside. They also have lunch menu and lunch bento options.

At lunch experience,
Nagasaki food style shop, delicious with reasonable price ... However, non-smoking seats have no meaning since the place is so small so cigarette's scent always come.
