When people below say monstrous, i did not believe. I regretted my naivety. It is super huge!
Around $3900 for the fish roe rice, $4400 for the one with sea urchin.
It is indeed worth the wait, but i feel bad because i cant finish it. Not because its bad but because i had some food before i reach
There are cheaper options i think theres one $2500 yen one but since i was here i just yolo it
Went at 11:20 on monday, there was 11 people in front of me, we two didnt get in, so we waited for like 30 min next batch. If you dont wanna wait so long come abit earlier. It was huge. Id never see this kind of price and portion in singapore

Nice owner. Cannot finish the dish, but it tastes good! Many of us ask for boxes to it home. Will come back and try other dishes.

Waited for an hour, but I think it worth it.

We came 30mins early knowing that this was a popular spot, and despite so we only made it into the restaurant after 45mins of queueing. The restaurant is really small, about 15 seats (if you’re in groups of more than 4pax you will likely have to sit separately) and all menu is in Japanese. We tried using google translate but could not get much details on what’s on the menu. If you don’t read Japanese, fret not. The very kind old lady staff will come to you and tell you which is the best seller, and which is the one with ikura or uni. Go for the best seller if you’re not sure what to order - you won’t regret it! There is not much difference in the other bowls, just same best seller ingredients with additional ikura or uni that’s it. The price starts from about 2,900 yen up to 5,000 yen which is extremely worth it considering the huge portion you’ll get. Sashimi are all very fresh and thickly sliced, one of the most satisfying meals we’ve had. The free soup (fish spring onion soup, not miso soup) was absolutely delicious!! If I didn’t remember wrongly, they only accept cash so do remember to prepare in advanced!

If you can handle A Godzilla size portion of sashimi don, this is the place to be ...delicious, great price, monster large portion and friendly services. But expect need to queue for 30 plus minutes.....

I visited the restaurant on a Saturday lunch that required waiting. So there was only one option (perhaps today's special). Despite this, I was thoroughly satisfied. Finishing a bowl may be hard if you prefer to eat less. But it was enjoyable because the Kaisen-dong was composed of various kinds of fish. Experiencing food similar to this in other countries may cost twice as much. It's worth visiting. Thank you for the delicious meal. :)
