Small place, but awesome BBQ! A bit smoky, but the beef is mans selected by the owner. Definitely a great local place to eat. No English menu.

This is a store I've been curious about for a long time.
I had made a reservation for August 2023, but I was informed that the shop owner had suddenly decided to close due to poor health, so I was unable to go, so I made another reservation for January of this year. I went!
Judging from the results, it was great!

It's a store with a lot of regulars, and some people wrote in the reviews that the staff were not very helpful, so I was a little nervous when I entered the store, but that wasn't the case at all!
In fact, I found the clerk to be very pleasant.
The inside of the store was quite smoky, but they lent me a bag to store my outerwear in.
We were shown to a tatami room that could probably seat about 6 people, but since we went with 2 people, we felt pretty relaxed, and they even told us that we could use the cushions on top of each other if we wanted. , was very kind.
When I tried to get another refill of the same drink, I was sorry that there was a lot of ice left, so I told her that I could use the same cup, and she said thank you and that it would be helpful, which made me feel very nice.

The most important meat was the Jotan, which I was looking forward to as I'm a big fan of beef tongue, and it was really delicious. It has a strong flavor and is quite addictive.
What shocked me the most this time was the specially selected salted skirt steak. It's too delicious. I don't usually get white rice because I usually drink alcohol, but after ordering rice, I couldn't decide whether to order a second helping or not.

We will eat a lot of delicious meat! I went there with great enthusiasm, so it ended up costing 28,000 yen for two people, which is quite expensive for a local yakiniku restaurant, but it was so delicious that it was a reasonable price and I was very satisfied.

I will definitely go again.

Visited in March 2023 at the same time as the store opened on Sunday. I called about a week in advance and was told that one seat had been canceled by chance, so I was able to make a reservation.

When I visited, there were 4 tables, 2 of which were in a small table, and they seemed to be fully booked by regulars. Once we are seated, the hostess tells us the rules: `Except for drinks, you can only make two additional orders after your first order.'' It seems like the two of you are doing it, so it doesn't seem to be turning.

Your first order will include top short ribs, top skirt steak, salted tongue, and salted liver. The top skirt steak was better than I expected. The flavor of the meat and the sauce are exquisite.
For the second order, I ordered the upper skirt steak again and the salted skirt steak. Both had a strong meat flavor and were delicious.
When I asked for soup, I was once refused because the kitchen wasn't working, but the kitchen thankfully replied, We'll do it! I had egg soup. Personally, I think this soup has a nice garlic scent and is very delicious. I want to drink it again.

I have a hard time rating Yakiniku restaurants because I have strong personal preferences, but I think the top skirt steak and soup were flavors that could only be eaten here, and I was able to visit for these two reasons, so I gave it 5 stars. Please note that it is very smoky, so we recommend that you wear clothes that you don't mind getting smelly!

Although it is not very thick, it has a firm tongue texture and is chewy, and the more you chew, the more the flavor of the meat comes out.

The seasoning is very strong with salt and pepper, and it has an addictive flavor that goes well with rice as well as alcohol.

This dish has a thick, sweet miso-like sauce that clings to the tongue, and the rice goes so well that even I, who don't usually order white rice, can't help but try it.

Of course, the restaurant was full and very lively.
I made a reservation about a month in advance, so it was fine, but I recommend making your reservation at least a week in advance.

The inside of the store is thick with smoke, so it might be a bit harsh for people who don't like smoke, but it also has a nice atmosphere.
They will give you a bag, so you can avoid carrying bags.

What impressed me most were the staff.
I didn't have high expectations for customer service at Machi Yakiniku, but here everyone is very polite and kind.
It was my first visit, but I felt very comfortable and enjoyed the meal.
It was a yakiniku restaurant that I definitely wanted to visit again.
