Empire Steak House Roppongi Review Summary

I came here 2 years ago and clearly remember perfect streaks so I wanted to experience it again but it was all the contrary this time.

First the meat was so salty that it was barely edible. How can such a beginner's mistake happen in such an expensive place. (25,000 yen per person for a minimalist order)
Second the taste of the meat itself was nowhere as flavorful and was on the acidic side.

Definitely not worth it. Never again.

Empire has one of the best steaks i have ever had. It cut like butter, it was flavorful, it was perfectly tempered to what we asked for. The service was AMAZING. The drinks were delicious. I highly recommend for a date night out. 10/10.

Classic American High-End SteakHouse in Toyko. If you are home sick for a quality steak dinner put it on your list.

This was one of the best meals I've had. We started with the scallops and crab cakes. Both were amazing and perfectly prepared. The salsa on the scallops complimented them perfectly. We then moved on to the porterhouse for two, in all the steak houses I've been I have never tasted a steak so decadent. It was perfectly prepared, juicy, the taste was nothing like I'd had before. Not that it needed it, I did try it with the house steak sauce which was also excellent. We paired our steak with a side of mashed potatoes and the first bite took me back to my grandma's kitchen. The entire meal was perfection, the staff was excellent, the atmosphere while classy I didn't feel out of place. It is expensive but well worth the price.

Great service and delicious food. Well prepared and very yummy inside a beautiful dining room. Highly recommended the short course lunch menu at 4.500 yen pp. They serve fresh bread at your table (free refill) and the soup was very hearty, reminded me of my mother’s cream soup from Ireland. The chips are also well made and they maintain their crisp and don’t go soft too quickly. The steak itself was perfectly cooked and the service was top class.
