Amazingly intimate and incredibly well-thought out, this restaurant blew us away. We were pointed there by a good friend from NYC who hailed it as the best restaurant in Kyoto, and it hit all the marks. Gorgeously prepared dishes and excellent chef/server team. 100% would recommend!

It would be even better if it could be cashless. Meals are a la carte. The soup stock was so delicious that I was blown away by it. Not only was the staff well-mannered, but I was also impressed by the care they put into each and every dish. There was a mix of course and a la carte customers at the counter, but everything went smoothly, including checking drinks and timing of serving. The ingredients were fresh, and the timing of the serving temperature seemed to be taken care of, so I was able to enjoy my meal with peace of mind. The utensils were also good. Being faithful to the basics is what makes it so delicious. Thank you for the meal. I would like to see an improvement in the fact that payments can only be made in cash. I'll visit you again.

The balance of food and service is really great. The taste of the food is exceptional. Two people came to the restaurant, but when we ordered the food, it came out divided into portions for two people. The plates and presentation are beautiful. Not only that, but I was impressed by the staff who delivered the food to me. He is soft-spoken and polite, and has a good understanding of manners. Seeing that his face turned red as the alcohol progressed, a cold drink was served to him. When you get up from your seat, they will guide you straight to the toilet. I was impressed by the fact that, despite offering such great food and service, there was nothing pompous or pretentious about it. I would love to hear from you again.
